Josh Adkins Enters World of Outlaws $50,000 to Win Race at Talladega

PELHAM, AL - The Mullinax Racing team will attempt to make the largest race in team history with the $50,000 to win Alabama Gang 100 at the team's home track.

After getting rained out two weekends ago the team elected to take their time to prepare Josh Adkin's #57 Super Late Model for the April 22nd Alabama Gang 100. This will mark the first time that the Mullinax Racing team has entered a World of Outlaws Late Model race since the last time that the series visited Talladega Short Track in the early 2000's.

The weekend will start with dual feature races on Friday, each paying $5,000 to win and locking in the top three into the Saturday main event. Each of the Friday features will contain a full field and run for twenty laps around the 1/3rd mile red clay oval.

Saturday is the day of the main event, and the finishing positions of the dual features will determine where each car starts in Saturday's heat races. This means that the Friday features will be very important in determining the team's chances to make it into the big show.
