PELHAM, AL - Caden sets his eyes for the Sam Pugh Memorial at Duck River Raceway Park after suffering a mechanical DNF at Senoia last Saturday.
After a disappointing weekend at Senoia Raceway where a mechanical failure caused Caden's night to end early, the team looks to bounce back over the long weekend. That race made two DNF's in a row for Caden, which is a streak that he looks to turn around at one of his favorite tracks.
This will be Caden's fourth trip to Duck River this season, a track that the team has had success at in the past. Mullinax Racing's last trip to Duck River was the Deep Fried 75 where Caden pulled off an amazing heat race to secure a 12th place starting position in the massive field.
This weekend the team will be attempting the $5,000 to win Sam Pugh Memorial at the 1/4 mile track in Wheel, Tn. Duck River is a bull-ring of a race track that produces some of the most fun racing in the South.
Saturday will provide the team with a testing session at Duck River so that the team and Caden can tune the car and be ready for the rare Sunday race. On Sunday some of the best regional drivers in the South are expected to show up to the Sam Pugh Memorial.
