PELHAM, AL - On Thursday, March 2nd, the Mullinax Brothers will head out to run two races at two different tracks in Georgia for the Schaeffer's Spring Nationals Series.
The first of the two races will take place at Swainsboro Raceway where Caden will compete in the Super Late Model Division for $10,053 and Maddux in the 604 Crate division. The Saturday race will be at Senoia Raceway where Caden will again compete in the Super Late Model division for $10,053 and Maddux will run in the 604 Crate division.
The Schaeffer's Spring Nationals Series is a Super Late Model series that runs sixteen races over seven weekends starting on March 3rd in Swainsboro. Caden will compete in many races of this series over the Spring months alongside his brother who will run select races in the 604 Crate division.
The team plans to leave for the Peach State on Thursday with a testing session scheduled at Senoia Raceway. Here the team looks to home in the cars at a track that they plan to visit multiple times this season.
The team will arrive in Swainsboro on Friday where they will compete on the 3/10-mile red clay dirt track. Swainsboro is an older track that has recently been sized down to the new, shorter, configuration, and this will be the first time that the team has visited it.
The next day the team will travel back to Senoia Raceway, a 1/3-mile clay oval that has become a favorite track with Caden. This track will provide fast paced, high strung action with lots of passing opportunities and great racing.
The team has visited Senoia Raceway many times over the last few years with varying results and this will be Caden's third time there in a Super Late Model. The track usually fits Caden's style with wide sweeping turns that leaves little rest for the driver who is constantly working.
This weekend looks to provide a challenge along as a test for the team. With three days of travel and three days of cars on track, the team wants to use this to prepare for the big season planned for this year.
Updates of the weekend will be found on Mullinax Racing the social media pages where everything will be kept as current as possible. If you want to follow the Mullinax Racing team, make sure you follow the Facebook page or follow us on Instagram @MullinaxRacing.
